Our New House

We are buying a house that we(along with our realtor) have nicknamed the fireman's house. Why? Because there is a hydrant and a firehose in the yard as decorations. The current owners have a style very different from ours so we have nicknamed other rooms as well.

The camo room....for obvious reasons.

The Guitar room. Megan named this room. Well, you can't see them in this picture, but there was a guitar in the corner and 2 neon guitars on the walls.

Then of course there is the RED room. Judging from all the houses we looked - red is a very popular color for bathrooms and diningrooms. I went into one house and exclaimed "Holy Redness!" That bathroom was ladybug red bright! Shocked me. The downstairs bath in our new house is pretty darn RED. Probably appropriate that a fireman's house have at least one red room.

Finally, last but not least. Possibly one of the best rooms in the entire house. My future scrapbook room - my studio. They are using it as a bedroom now, but soon it will be my creative oasis.

Curse of the White Shirt

Why is it that when I wear a white shirt this happens? It's a brand new white T-shirt in a nicer material so it can be used as a layering piece for work. I think there is a curse placed on new white shirts.

Why a Blog?

I have kept a journal since age 13. I just love to write. Most of my e-mails are Loooong. So I thought that I could share my thoughts and updates of my life and family this way. Thanks for reading and feel free to leave comments and let me know you were here.
