Productive Weekend

Shawn took Brianna to soccer so I pretty much didn't leave the house all weekend...except to go the scrapbook store to get some more adhesive.

I am one picture away from completing my Ali track album...A Week in the Life. I just need one picture for the title page. I can't find that picture I printed. It's on my computer, but I'm out of yellow ink. Drat!

I'm almost finished with my circle journal for my post CKU Chicago circle journal group. Just have to do my 2 lay-outs. The cover and the rest of the pages are done.

I am so close on so many projects. But I did totally complete one. I took Stacy Julian's Colorful You class from Big Picture Scrapbooking awhile back. I had all the stuff gathered, but never had time to put it all together. I finished it! Yea!

My First Completed CKU-A Project

Gotta love CKU! Where else is scrapbooking celebrated with such abandon. 3 glorious days of creating projects from some of the industry's top designers.

My friend Wendy and I wanted to go to an albums version. When we heard it was going to be in Chicago, we knew we had to go. I was looking forward to finishing at least one album. Foolish girl that I was. I figured that if I did my homework and printed out my pix I'd come home with something completed. I mean completely completed - with photos and journaling.

Reality? Not possible for me. Now I know people that got their album track albums done, but my little cosmopolitian party on Friday night kinda precluded that. Hey! Part of the fun is meeting new people and socializing.

Things have been kinda a blur lately. Skating club. Soccer - indoor and out. Work. Last night was the first time that I went to a crop that I could focus on scrapping. I went to a crop at my friend Jody's, but we hadn't seen each other in so long that I got nothing done. Anyway....

May I present my first totally completed CKU project....drum roll please.....my tag book from the Directions class by Magic Scraps. Totally completed with pix and journaling about a road trip Megan and I took in March to see my neice's ice show.
